Macintosh LC . Model M0350

This Macintosh LC ( for Low Cost) came from Singapore, the start of Asia leadership in computer assembling as the SG letters replaced the CK in the serial number. For this computer I will make a step by step cleaning process. First I was surprise to find the locking screw at the back of the computer, which is often removed and lost. The hard drive is missing but this is not a great problem.

dust in the floppy drive and the cleaning of the top cover will be more time consuming.

Two types of identification : One is engraved in the bottom and the other example is a label at the same place on the bottom of the Mac LC structure.

The model of the battery might be different from one model to the other, the red one is shorter than the blue one and it’s compensated with the length of the positive + pole.

The removable back cover for the extension card is made with two parts, one is plastic the other is metal.

One picture shows the dismantling of all parts of the Mac LC, top cover, hard drive, floppy drive, speaker and ventilation block, the motherboard attached to the bottom structure. All these elements removed by hand with NO SCREW to manage.
